Hi,
today i noticed these little inch worm looking white things on the top of some of my tank surface plants/wood. when i submerge them the lil things jump around as fleas would. I was wondering if anyone know what they are, and if so how to get rid of them?

I had them in a 125 gallon tank that I keep in a school. They didn't last very long and I belive they were the result of leftover food and overfeeding. The water level being low also seemed to help them survive.
I advised the people at the school to feed less and we raised the water level. About a week later the little guys were gone.
Hope that helps.

could u possibly be talking about planaria? they are threadlike and about 1/8". if so, then hooben is rite. they usually grow from left-over food but they wont harm your fish so dont worry. some fish even eat them.
