i was adding water to all my tanks very gently and when i was adding to my 10 gallon my hand slipped and all the falling water kicked up the junk in the gravel ( it was really messy because i lost my syphon and i hadn't syphoned in 3 months don't worry im getting a new one ) all the junk settled exept for this little white things they look like worm parisites what should i do i added aquarium salt and medication to kill it should i do a water change or is it just light broken down particles which are taking a long time to settle

those "parasites" are called planaria, they are absolutely harmless to your fish. When they show up, that usually means that you are over feeding. They actually kinda help the tank by breaking down uneaten food particles. Every thing is fine. some fish like gouramis even diet on them.

I just developed these in my 10 gallon tank too. I realize they are harmless but that doesn't make them any less gross. I want to get rid of them, does anyone know how to kill them off?
