properly balanced flake-foods are good for them, such as the type tetra-fin makes. these help give them alot of the nutrients they need. an occasional few feeder fish mite also be good.

I give mine feeder guppies and some times a ghost shrimp.

Krill, Blood worms, Brine Shrimp, feeder fish, hell you can even give just about anything else from live mice to raw steak but the first 4 suggestions will provide a good diet. It's pretty cool to throw a feeder mouse in but only if you have adult P's.
