I just recently purchased a ghost/glass cat, so I dont know exacty how big they'll get, but I was talking to the lfs guy about it before I got it, and he's had experience with them, he told me they get approx. 4 inches, and they're ok in a peaceful community. Mines good in with 9 misc tetras, 3 rasboras, a dwarf gourami, pleco, weather loach, and kuhlii loach IP: Logged |

I had a school of 4 that I traded in eventually. they got to be about 3 inches in rapid time. I really enjoyed them, but they hid a lot and were hard to see in the tank LOL. They are very timid and do best with slow moving non aggressive tank mates. They also do not do well unless they are in a school of 4-5 or more. IP: Logged |

I had a glass catfish when I was a kid. It never really did a whole heck of a lot. It usually sat underneath one plant and that was it. Every time I would buy it some more friends they would all die. He was my survivor, I had him 3 years and he never grew to be more than 3 inches. IP: Logged |

The one I had was only about 2.5", I don't know how big they get, but the one I had was really friendly. I had him in a community tank IP: Logged |
