As I've already explained many many times, feeder fish are one of the worst things you can feed an oscar. And I highly advise against doing it, especially since there are a many options that are a lot healthier than fish.

Oscars are mainly insectivorous, so just about any insect would be a good treat (their staple should be pelleted food). The only insects I would avoid are spiders and any other insect that can be poisonous or sting and any insect that could possibly have come in contact with pesticides.

My oscars love earthworms (I can get about 30 of them for $4 at the hardware store) and meal worms. A lot of people also feed their oscars crickets (can be bought at most LFS's). Shrimp and blood worms are also good. I buy frozen salad shrimp from Walmart. It's cheap and pretty much all of my fish like it.
