hi, my 6inch albino oscar has almost a peach/coloured growth on his gill. its slowly been getting bigger. its kinda small right now and looks like a little bead attacked to some more spread inside. he has trouble breathing at times. ive been treating him with ick stuff. what else can i do?

Could you maybe post a picture of it? At this point, I don't really know what it could be, but a pic would help.

If he's having trouble breating, you can try adding an air stone to put more oxygen in the water and/or add some aquarium salt.

It doesn't sound like ich, so I would stop with the ich meds.

one thing that can be happening to your oscar is of it is little they will change color as they muchure and he is albino the orange color is normal for albino's because there orange will come in stripes or in a blob or usually the back half and around the gills will change to some what alittle orange or alittle pinkish but of you can see in to the gill flaps and see of they are like a bloody red and no white dots the fish will mostly be a healthy fish. talk to you later.
