My 2" crayfish just molted and his new shell has an overall blue tint with darker blue streaks running the length of his body that wasn't there before. I'm wondering if I might have a Blue Lobster. When I bought him he was tiny and gray. This his his 3rd molt in 4 months and this is the first time I have seen color. Does anybody have experience with BLs? Does their color develop as they grow or are they blue when they are born?

Enquiring minds want to know...

Aquatech on Burnet rd. LOVE that place. they had a few in stock, several months ago.
Marcus said people had been requesting them, though they don't usually carry them because people put them in with the wrong fish and then complain when their fish get eaten. LOL
oh, and it cost me 25.00. I've had great luck with it though.. growing and molting like crazy.

you can also try your local petco, they sometimes carry one or two in stock. I just got mine a couple of days ago. He's about
2"to 3" and the color on him is great. I am really happy with my blue lobster

the petco off of Brodie Ln. had quite a few, fairly good size specimans, mostly austrailian and a couple of south american for $19.99.
the Aqua-Dome(Hwy71 between I35 and Capitol ot Texas Hwy), at times, has them too for about $17.
