hi all, would it be possible for me to run a reverse flow under gravel filter with my external power filter, if so are there any benifits to doing this rather than running my filter normally. cheers.

The idea is that running a reverse flow will keep the plates of the ugf a little cleaner.
The only way I have seen this done is with a powerhead set on reverse. Not all powerheads have this setting so watch out. I have never seen a reverse flow ugf with an external pwr filter. The external filter should be efficient enough to get rid of the ugf.
