i have a small school of bloodfins and one of them seems to have 2 what seem to be wormlike bodies inside his skin. they are tannish in color and about 1cm each..what is this and how can i cure it??

Sounds more like a parasite to me. Your LFS should carry medication for it. The parasite may or may not be apparent in the tank, but left untreated it's likely that other fish may catch it. As for brand of meds, just make sure that it's safe to use with all the fish in your tank (read carefully) and is made to treat parasites.
