Hi red devil 2, I have seen what has been referred to as albino, but they were not a true albino. The characteristics of a true albino are pure white coloration and red eyes. Those that I have seen referred to as albino were actually a pale yellow and sorry, no red eyes. One thing to remember about albinism is that it is completely recessive genes. When a fish or animal is bred to bring out the recessive genes you are creating a fish that is much less hardy. In the case of red devils that might not mean too much considering how hardy they are normally. IP: Logged |
