My Oscer only likes to eat live food?? I tried pellets and I tried dried Shrimp he likes the dried shrimp but I was told that it is'nt good to just feed them that.. I dont know what I can feed it.. Can I get some advice please!!! He loves Feeders and he loves Crickets but I guess they are both bad for him as a stable Diet..

dont feed for a day then offer shrimp pellets or Cichlid pelltet thier such pigs he should take!! after only feed live food on specail ocations or 1 a week or even month. make sure the live food dosnt bring in deseases by quarintine. thats what i have read alot through out the post abotu live food hope it helps

Like cichlids small Jaws said, don't feed it for a couple days then offer it pellets. If it still refuses, wait another day and try the pellets again. The important thing is don't give in (I know it's very hard to be strong when they do that hungry/feed me dance). An otherwise healthy fish will not let itself starve. After a while it will realize that it's only choices are pellets or no food, and it will eat the pelltes.
