Hi, I was woundering if it would be possible to keep a Fire Mouth and/or an Orange Chromide with my two Bolivian Rams and Pleco. They would be in a 40 gal tank. thanx!!! IP: Logged |

The firemouth may end up eating the rams plus it would be really pushing the bioload of the tank. And the orange chromide is actually brackish so it will require some aquarium salt which the pleco will not like. -Chelle [This message has been edited by t_chelle16 (edited 02-09-2004).] IP: Logged |

I thought the Fire mouth would be a litlle too big foe the Rams...oh well. And about the Orange Chromide and salt, I all ready have aquarium salt in my tank(1 ts per 5gal) and it doesn't seem to bother my pleco at all. That probibly isn't enough salt to make it brackish however. Anyway thanx for the info. Also do u know of any medium size cichlids(2-4 inches) that would work out with my Rams and pleco? IP: Logged |
