sorry for your fishie losses. Are the dead ones damaged? Check your filter for the bodies of little fishies. Let us know the answers IP: Logged |

If you would be so kind as to tell me what the water parameters for ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and temperature are please. Carp are not typically carnivores although I wouldn't put it past one to eat a small fish from time to time. I'm more suspect of your tank conditions. How long has it been set up and what type of filtration are you using? IP: Logged |

Sounds like your carp could be the problem, but not likely. Like they said, check your filters, and PH levels....what is your temp set on, the water temp could also be killing your fish. I know when many fish are in one tank, they can fight and eat each other.. IP: Logged |

To me sounds like if there gone and not in the filter they are becoming someones dinner. Hope this is not the case and I am sorry for your losses. IP: Logged |

You have 45 fish in a 30 gallon tank. They may be dying due to overcrowding/pollution and then being consumed by their tankmates. IP: Logged |

"You have 45 fish in a 30 gallon tank. They may be dying due to overcrowding/pollution and then being consumed by their tankmates." That would be my guess as well. If you would answer the questions Dvross asked, that would help us out. Also, how long has the tank been set up? -Chelle IP: Logged |
