If you're referring to FW stingrays, I can tell you that most of them get very large (3 feet across) and as such require a HUGE tank. They also generally do best in a species only tank and are VERY sensitive to water quality; if it's slightly off, they could get sick and/or die. -Chelle IP: Logged |

Hi jason, t_chelle16 is correct. Other things you may want to know before purchaseing a stingray: Smaller fish are food items and larger fish tend to pick on them. Thats one of the reasons they should be in a species tank. Also they should be in a bare tank or a sand type media. With gravel they will bruise because they like to bury up in the media. A sand type media is the preference and can be very difficult to maintain. IP: Logged |
