I got 3 Juli cory cats about 3 weeks ago and am not have luck with them....I lost one this morning and another is about to die. I don't know if I just got a bad batch that were sick when I got them or if it's my aquarium. What kind of set up do you have yours in? I have a 10 gallon currently with 3 platties and the dwindling corys. Do you find them to be hardy? How do you care for yours? Thanks for any advice!

The first thing I'd ask is "Is this an established tank?". Meaning, did you cycle the aquarium? Before I can give any relevant advice I need you to answer a couple of questions beforehand: What are your water parameters for Ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, pH and Temperature.

hi D! I'm glad you found this site...you too have been a wealth of knowledge for many! Yes, my tank is established...it's been up since the 1st of October. I test my levels weekly or whenever I suspect something is going on. My ammonia is 0.25ppm, nitrites 0 and nitrates 30ppm. My temperature is 74. I change water weekly(25%) and have been vacuming at the same time which I am now wondering if I should only be vacuming once a month instead of weekly. My water has been cloudy the last 2 weeks since I treated my cory for fungus for 8 days of that time, so am thinking the medicine must have caused this. I was also wondering if my piece of driftwood can cause cloudiness? Anyway, my remaining cory looks wonderful and healthy...I lost 2. What do you think?
