I noticed last week that there was a light cloud forming in my tank. i hadn't had algae eaters for about a week prior, so i figured that the cause. I got some more and try'd them for a week now, and its only got worse. the algae doesn't seem that bad on the plants or the sides of the tank, but the water keeps getting more diluted with the stuff. I've done 2 water changes now and still no luck. it's almost at the point wear I can't see the intake on my filter in the back of the tank. Plz Help! tks for any advice in advance IP: Logged |

Are you sure it's algae? Is the cloudiness green or white? The 2 things algae needs to trive is nutrients and light. If it is algae, you could try feeding your fish less and leave the lights on for shorter periods. -Chelle IP: Logged |
