HELLO,
I just started a discus tank with the help of many local pet store owners. I have two discus right now. My question is is there a kind of cat fish that co habitates with Discus better than others? How ahbout a pleco?
Thanks!

25 Gallons. I have two tall plants in the back, a small plant in front, fake rock formation and a fake broken pitcher.

The tank is pretty well stocked right now so you'd be limited to a fairly small choice. A couple of small pleco's are the bristlenose and the clown pleco. Some other good cats are cories. If your Discus tank is planted you might do well to add a clown loach. They're very colorful, active and will keep the snail populations down (if that's applicable to your situation).

Hi discusluvr,
I would rather not mix Discus with any thing else, Some times not even the different catagory of discuss.
Discus are very mild fishes, and can get easily harrased with any small fish like a tetra.

So look out for the different catagories before mixing it up.

Good luck
