i was watching my comets the smaller ones 1" or less and i notices they were swimming around the tank plulling little white dots off and eating them... are they eggs? and comet eggs? i have a red eared slider 3 3" comets and 2 1" and an apple snail... ?? any ideas what they could be cuz im guessing eggs? or what lives in tanks that they eat? I'd rule out the apple snail as their egg clutches are rather large - size of a grape or larger - and are typically pinkish in color. I'm not sure what you have but they don't sound like eggs. Are you sure they're dots and not more wormlike? IP: Logged |
