I am a newbie here, but not a newbie to angels. There are many different strains of angelfish. Most fish, in general, will nip at the angel's beautiful fins. You should consider differnt breeds. I just bought a beautiful black lace veil tail that paired up with my koi angel. A tank with different breeds is the way to go with angelfish. Good luck and keep us posted.

I want to get angle fish in my 29gallon but how much would be a good number? I would also like to breed them as well.

Angels are beautiful...for a 29 gallon only 2 would be comfortable. You can get a male and a female breeding pair for this. Good luck to you, but don't get more than 2.
