My Poor Henrey, he's fins are all gone brown and something is eating them away also when he eats he just spits it back out!!! So the tank gets really dirty in a couple of days cause the feed sinks 2 the bottom. I am worried about him and he also keeps bumping into the sides of the tank!!!! Someone please give me some adivice on what to do. I do put some stuff in that coats then fins and is meant to make them stronger. Please Reply.!!! IP: Logged |

You can but medicine at your petstore for finrot, as that sounds like what he has. YOu may want to try a different type of food, he may just be tired. I try to feed my fish varieties, it seems to help! IP: Logged |

hi jessica....i have pamplet from mardel sitting in front of me here is a discription for you parasitic infestations GYRODACTYLUS- affects the skin of fish. Colors fade, fins droop, fold and gradually become torn. fish become sluggish and weak. if this sounds like your fish it says to treat it with Coppersafe made by Mardel IP: Logged |
