Help! We have a male betta about two years old. He has been hanging limp in his tank. The only time he moves from that position is when I feed him. Any suggestions? I use filtered tap water in his tank with a conditioner. We no longer have a plant, but it has been over a year since we lost it.

I have read in several places that the life span of a betta is about 2-3 years. Your betta might just be getting older.
