My roommate and I just bought 3 guppies, and I believe one is a male while the other two are female.. of course the male started nipping at the females tails and we said "enough with that" and I got him a seperate tank. The females are doing fine without him, but hes in this tank and he spends most of his time swimming up and down the glass like he is trying to find an opening in the glass.. He swims all the way up to the top then all the way down to the rocks in high speed.. what is he doing?!?! Could it be that the tank is too big or he needs company.. but im worried about getting another one just in case its a smaller fish.. which he will probably be killing anyway.. pleaaseee hellpppp

the females will be bothered bye the male but they whouldnt die, i used to breed them and they all lived together. you dont really have to worry about babys cause thell probably just get eaten and be out of your way. im sure the guy would be fine with your females. they survived in my tank.
