About a week ago I notice that my Juli cory cat had what looked like a blob of white cottony stuff on its side. I had Binox on hand from previously treating my platties. This is supposed the clear up fungal and bacterial infections (contains sodium chloride and fungizone(SP?)) So I treated for 4 days according to directions and her one spot it sort of going away but now she has 3 more of the blobby white mucasy spots so I extended treatment for 4 more days according to directions. Friday will be the 8th day of treatment...if things have not improved by then what should I do? What does she have and is there another better medicine to have on hand in case this happens again. Thank you for any advice!

you might want to try maracyn or maracyn 2. they are a bit more expensive but i find that they usally do the trick. i also like to give mine a salt bath as well. ratio: 1tble per 10 gallons... good luck

ive had this stuff on one of my black moores and i used tweesers to pick it off but continued treatment also. but my black moores are quit tough and it may not work as promising for your fish. you could try it, i dont think it should hurt but dont scratch them too mush and try not to stress them out too much. catching them in a net is the easiest way and then doing it.(this is just my expirience though)good luck , hope it goes away
