What should I do. I have been treating my 55 gallon tank now for ich for about 4 days but it has only got worse. my shark jus died from it. my severum looks terrible and 2 of the tiger abrbs are bout die. The goarmis look messed up to. what should i do.

i have been using the blue tablets that say to remove the carbo and it makes the water blue. it is called ick clear.

I used ICK clear on my tank that just came down with it. I only had a mild case and it seemed to work fine. You could do a 25% water change and then try another round of it or try switching to the Maracide. I am putting the Maracide in my tank now. You should treat ICK for 10-14 days since it is not only on your fish, but in the water. If the white spots are more cotton looking it could be velvet. Hope you can help your little guys!

well thanks everyone for the advice.... the ich is gone but only like 40% of the tank survived..

1 Rainbow shawk
4 danios
3 gouamirs

My angle fish Had ich i washed out filtration and got new carbon and the foam and raised the temp of my tank to 92 and added lots of aquarium salt and it cleard in about 2-3 days have fun hope it gets better for you
