this follows the last question i posted about the hard to clear fungus. Big red had fungus on his eyes for a little more than 2 weeks....this morning the fungus fell off and his eye is horrible. it don't even resemble an eye. Does anyone know if he is going to be blind now???? or is this temporary... IP: Logged |

What colour was the fungus on the eye? Did it affect both eyes? IP: Logged |

the fungus was real thick fluffy white and it was on both eyes tried to treat it with maracyn twice (showed a little improvement) swiched to maraoxy and maracyn 2..this time it's working... both "scabs" fell off this morning , hence this message that i think he is blind black stuff lined the inside of the "scab" any guesses would be great IP: Logged |

I dont know if its the same for oscars but my electric blue had this once. After the white tuffs disappeared the eye fell of. Luckily it only affected one eye. So he was blind on one side. IP: Logged |
