I have little white warms in my fish tank and I have a lobster will the warms hurt my lobster because right now he is molting. What should I do.

I don't what the worms to kill my lobster he is only 3 months old.


what should I do.

hey, ive had this problem with my oscar, its from feeding them feeder fish. but they wont hurt your lobster. just keep on scraping them off and they should go away.

It is not from feeder fish. I'm assuming this is a standard case of planaria. If so, this is caused by overfeeding (over-abundance of organic waste in the water column) and a poor cleaning regimen. Cut back on the food and start vacuuming the substrate every couple of days. In stirring it up you may get some hazy white water, which is a hetertrophic bacterial bloom, but that too should dissolve within a week.

If you are impatient, you can always try salt at 1 tbs per 5 gallon providing you have no snails, invertebrates or scaleless fish. Another harsher option is formalin.
