Ahhh, the pain of metric/imperial conversions. 100L is approx. 26 US gallons (26.418 is a little more precise). 100L is also 21.996 CAN gallons which I think is based on the old English gallon and may still be used in other Commonwealth countries. I should point out that officially we use neither, since we're metric. Spaz, there is no gallon that I know of that is = to 2 litres. Perhaps you are confused with pints. I dream that someday everyone will see the beauty of base 10 and we will all stand a few cm taller together [This message has been edited by katanas_edge (edited 01-23-2004).] [This message has been edited by katanas_edge (edited 01-23-2004).] IP: Logged |

Hi katanas_edge, I think it was a plot by the makers of Canadian Club that we started going to liters. One gallon went to 1.75 L. Sounds like I'm getting short changed, and I hope I'm never measured by cm. It sounds sooooooo smaaaaaaaaall. Ha Ha [This message has been edited by kc5gvn (edited 01-23-2004).] IP: Logged |
