I own a 10 gal. hexagonal tank with a 13-14" diameter. I already have two pristilla tetras, two lemon tetras, and an algae eater. My cousin has offered me a bala shark, but I've learned my tank is to small for one. I was wondering what type of fish would go well in my tank. IP: Logged |

Hi Sterlic, As you have probably already figured out you are rather limited with 10 gallons. Considering what you already have in there I would suggest going with an all Tetra tank. There are several varieties to choose from and will be much easier to maintain. Phantom Tetras would make a nice contrast to what's already in there and are a little more dressy than Black Skirts. Another Tetra that I like is often overlooked, but Bleeding Heart Tetras have really nice finnage and colors when they reach maturity. IP: Logged |
