I am wondering if the liquid algae destroyer you can buy at petsmart will kill some types of fish? though the label says it does not. My brother in law has green water and bought some of this and now he says his oscars are dying because they are acting funny laying on their sides and stuff. he did a 50 percent water change. what is going on?? any ideas? I use the stuff often in my african cichlid's tank and he's never been affected by it at all. IP: Logged |

Hi dianenm, If you follow the dosage that's on the package it shouldn't cause any problem. If you brother in law went by, "if a little is good then a lot will be better" then he's going to have a problem with his fish. IP: Logged |
