Hello everyone. My name in Jason and I am a newbie to this forum and to the world of freshwater aquariums... I have a 140 Gallon tank that I just set up and I am wanting to put Lots of different species of fish and crustations in it.. Wondering if any of you can tell me what kinds of sharks would be best put in a community tank? Furthermore, I want lots of live plants and I dont want them to get destroyed... Any recomendations??? Thanks guys.. Jaybob

All sharks can live together and are not aggressive. Just worry about putting sharks with cichlids because the cichilids will bother them but other than that sharks get along with preety much everything.

if you decide to get red-tailed sharks only get one as they fight to the death when there are more than one.
Good luck with your decision

I know it was a while ago, but if you haven't yet bought a shark or two, you might consider the Silver Shark. I love the little darlings. I bought my first two when they were less than an inch, and only later found that they grow to 35cm. Yay. So docile, I can put my hand in and stroke them, and hand feed them. Nice. For info, sharks tend to be aggressive to other species of shark.

Iridescent Sharks will not bother anything but are easily frightened and skittish.
