2 new red-tailed sharks. One is terrorizing the other shark. The one being terrorized is acting near death (hanging out near the top corner/little activity). What's going on? Is this normal behavior? No other fish in tank. 10 gallon tank.
Thx

idk much about them but meybe one was already dieing and because of that it could have started picking on him. Or idk how big they were but there could of been a big difference in size.

yep- red tailed sharks (catfish) do not like their own species and like you have witnessed, the stronger one will terrorize the other until it dies. This could take awhile however, it is a miserable existence for the shark that is weaker. It is suggested that you take one of the sharks back to the fish store and sometimes they will give you credit to put towards another fish. I'm suprised they didnt warn you about this when they sold it to you.
Good luck with the red-tails!
