I have a silver Dollar fish and I want to get an Oscar but my boyfriend wants to get a large Angel fish. Can all of these fish go in the same tank?

Hi Hsellars, I don't recommend Angels with Oscars. I have kept an Angel with an Oscar, but the Angel was at 5" when I put the 2" Oscar in the tank. This DOESN'T always work however. When I tried the same procedure years later, the Angel not so mysteriously disappeared when the Oscar got to 4". Just goes to show fish have different personalities.

Hi Hsellars,
I have a Passion about Oscars and i have been growing them since 3 years now.
I do not recomment keeping the Oscars with Angles at all, Cause oscars are food mongers and more often than not they tend to attack less aggressive fishes, and will swally what ever fits to their mouth which moves.
Good mates for Oscars are large severums, Parrots, and some less aggresive Chiclids

Thanks for the advice, I guess I am going to have to wait on my Oscar until I get another tank to put it in since he really can't go in the same tank with too many different kinds of fish.
