I just bought a black lyrtail mollie two days ago.It is in a 10 gallon tank with two guppies and a platty. This morning I found the mollie lying upside down on the bottom of the tank.He is still breathing and when I went to take him out he turned upright and began swimming. So I left him in and when I came back about 2 hours later he was upside down again.I now have him in a separete bowl from the others. Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with him? Thanks.

Hi AbsolutPerfection, It would help to know a few things about him and the tank. What are the PH, ammonia and nitrite levels? What is the water temperature? Are there any other symptoms; erratic swimming, white dots on fins and/or body, or white patches on the body or mouth? How was he aclimated into the tank? Are any other fish in the tank acting unusual or have unusual coloration? Given the time frame of introduction into the tank I suspect it to have something to do with the aclimation, but need the other information to get a clearer picture.
