Has anyone ever noticed snails appearing in their freshwater tank? I just noticed three in mine and I'm wondering how they got there. Any input would be appreciated. IP: Logged |

hmmm..lol...nope. Did you recently add new fish or plants? Sounds to me like they must have been transported that way. snails multiply over and over---good luck ! IP: Logged |

Hi newbie, Snails often get into your tank from new plants that are put in. IP: Logged |

Oh, that must be it. I put a plant in there for my mollies a few weeks ago. Thanks a lot for your help. I couldn't imagine how they got in there. I hope I don't wind up with millions of them. I don't even know how they're reproducing. They all look like babies. Unless the eggs were on the plant and they "hatched" in the tank? Great. IP: Logged |
