My male betta seems to be sick.. It lays on the bottom of its tank and does not move for a minute then it gets up and swims around again. He is starting to lose its color and it is getting fuzzy. I know its most likely dying but is there anything i can do to save it. A friend said the water might be to cold for it but the tank is to small for a water heater. what can i do? IP: Logged |

If it is fuzzy it may have a type of disease or something. Check out this website and see if anything looks like yours: http://www.fishdoc.co.uk/disease/diseasehome.htm IP: Logged |

thank you very much i believe there is nothing i can do for it. and just let it die. Its losing its color and its just floating around now.. But it happened so suddenly. i just got it last week. it was a vry hyper fish and then last night i saw it laying on the rocks. i automaticly knew something was wrong and when i woke up this morning it was still laying there but would swim to the top for air and fall back down.. i fed him but he did not eat and now its at an upright postion floating around in its tank then it would go back up for air but it would fall right back down.
