I introduced 2 emerald corey catfish to my 55 gallon aquarium today. They are very active and are constantly swimming up and down along the side of the tank. Is this a sign of stress or is this normal?

Hi scottracy, This is normal. You apparently have some young emerald cory's. When they get older they get a little sluggish, but they're a nice fish.

I have two albino corys and they swim a lot too. Sometimes they will just sit on the bottom on the tank, but most of the time they are swimming around everywhere.
