I have 1 red tail black shark in my 72...i bought only one thinking that would keep the aggression down. For some reason he likes to chase my bala shark around the tank. He also swims after anyone who drifts past HIS rock...is he just trying to play around or is he being mean. Any suggestions....thanks

I have a rainbow shark (basically the same thing) and it does the exact same thing. I'm pretty sure that he just doesn't like being bothered. I have rocks situated in the one part of my tank to form sort of a cave and he stays in there and usually doesn't bother my other fish anymore.. but if they go near, he chases em off. They're just semi-aggressive shark, that's all, they shouldn't hurt the other fish thou.

Red Tail Sharks are semi-aggressive toward any fish of a similar shape or coloration.
