I have a couple of qustions about ciclids. First what is the maximum number of ciclids for a 40g tank. Second: What type of special type food should I feed them. I have tried a few different types of brine and also large brine that seamed too big for them. Any ideas will be apreciated. I am new to this site so exc use me if I,m repeating past issues. Hi seakay, It depends on the particular type cichlids. General rule of thumb is 1" of fish per 3 gallons of water on cichlids. Calculate from expected size at maturity. You can feed them brine shrimp, blood worms, tubifex worms, shrimp pellets or cichlid pellets IP: Logged |
