Oscars grow 12" ( one foot ) and needs a 75gallon tank. 55gallons absolute minimum.

what size is the fish now...you can keep it in a smaller tank but you will have to upgrade as the fish gets bigger..so your best bet is to get the big one now and save yourself the trouble

55g might do it if you don't want any other fish but I would recamend a 75g.

i have a 16 inch oscar and u can put an oscar in a 55 with other fish i have mine in with 3 6 inch jewels and a 10 inch red devil

they grow an inch every month or so i would put an oscar with a jack dempsey, texas cichlid, or red devil but u have to make sure the oscar is larger
