I have two large tanks one is a community 55g and the other is a 75g oscar tank. I have 1 medium size red oscar and two smaller ones plus a small african knifefish. We just purchased a pacu (yes I know they GROW!) and he is a few inches longer than the biggest oscar. Will the oscar fight with the pacu and can this hurt either one? Thanks for you help... Oscars and Pacus usually get along. The African Knife is not really suited for Oscars or Pacus however. The Knife would probably fare better in the community tank, depending upon what fish are in the community. IP: Logged |

I kept an oscar and pacu together without any problems other than the oscar getting pissed off every once and a while and snapping at the pacu. IP: Logged |
