hmmm.. sounds to me like they dont like each other very much- might want to watch them to see who is doing all the fighting and perhaps seperate them. There is something on the market called stress coat- it is an aloe based product that will help heal the wounds - basically it helps coat them with a slime. Maybe that might help
Good luck

the tank is 33 gallons and there are three of them...i do have stress coat and it does help but there are always new cuts on them. the tiger is about 5 inches and the onered is about 5 also...the other red is only 3. really they all fight each other...i think they are having toruble figuring out who is the boss...but they have been in there for a bout 4 months now and theyve only been fighting for about 1...

i keep an oscar, dempsey, and green terror and i've had them all for about a year and a half. the first couple of weeks they were fine but as they started to get bigger they started to fight more. i would keep an eye on them, if the fights were too bad, i would break them up. but if it was minor, i would sprinkle some food in there and the would get occupied eating .
now the get along fine and hardly ever fight. there's still some minor chasing and nipping but for the most part, they're all cool with each other.
but i'm not sure how species do within each other (as you have 3 oscars and i have 3 fish of different species) so i can only assume the aggression factor may be a bit higher for you. i'm sure you've been told you'll need a bigger tank. and they can be expensive (i'm currently shopping for a 120+) but if you're short on cash, wal-mart has a really good 55g tank kit for a really reasonable price.
not sure i i helped any but there's a couple suggestions

i dont think it seems serious cichlids normally fight even though oscars are semi aggresive but if they havent died yet or been severly injured its probley normall if u see one of them get injured pretty bad i would separate the 3 inch one
