I have 2 small oscar(about 3 in) in a 10 gallon tank. They are always around each other and it is a rare occasion when they are apart. one of them just got HITH disease (with the fins breaking up, the hole(s) in the head and the white stuff) i am currently treating the whole tank with melaflex. it seems to be helping but i was just wondering if my other oscar would get it. The healthy appears fine but it still hangs around the diseased one. for now, i am going to take out the healthy oscar and put it in a new 29gal tank and quarintine the other oscar in the 10 gal tank till it is healed. I am kind of new to this stuff and i was wondering if this is a good idead or not. thank you for the help! IP: Logged |
