I am new here...how are you all? I am starting my fish tank over since my redtail catfish died. I am debating on whether to get another redtail catfish or a freshwater stingray. My old take only consisted of the redtail catfish but I'm looking to start a community tank. I'm not sure what I could put in with the redtail catfish (I know not much) but does anyone know what??? Or what about a stingray...what type of a community can I start with a stingray??? Any suggestions are appreciated! Thanks!

Redtail Catfish are not a community fish by any stretch of the imagination. Any fish you put with them will eventually become a meal. Stingrays should be kept in a tank with sand in the bottom to keep them from getting bruised. Fish that can go with stingrays should be mild natured like Bala Sharks, Irredescent Sharks, Rainbow Fish etc.
