yea just got a 45 gallon bow front tank it is now empty can anyone tell me step by step what to do to start cycleing if you cycle? alot i have noe filter just tell me what to get what in a skimmer PLEASE I AM NEW TO THIS i really like live rock

Here are a few sites I have been sifting through that are very interesting and informative. I am also interested in eventually setting up a saltwater aquarium however, I think I might have a lot of reading and researching to do. I am a little eager at times myself! These sites have the basics and the first link has an A to Z guide for beginners. It is a lot of information. I think there is some information on live rock in these sites for you as well.

please help try to setup i have a protien skimmer a canister filter and salt what else do i need or is there something better than the canister??? please help
