Is it normal behavior for platties to zip around the tank and then flick into objects...they don't do it all the time just once in awhile. I am at the end of cycling my tank and am thinking that maybe the high levels are just getting to them. I am hoping the make it through...they seem happy and healthy otherwise. IP: Logged |

I had some platys that did that too. I could never figure out why they did, but I have heard that fish do that if they have Ick. My fish didn't have any white spots though and didn't show any other sighs of ick, so I just let it go and they seemed to be fine. IP: Logged |
