I am currently in the process of upgrading my 25 gallon tank with 1 Red Belly P. in it, to a 66 gallon. I was wondering if it was possible to add a pleco(large) to it? As well, our other Red Belly died a few months back, and I was wonder if Buddy(my current) would accept a new tank-mate? Would it be better to add 2 more P's then just 1, and should I add them to the new tank all at once?

Any help is apreciated!

Is it a red bellied pirhana or a red bellied pacu?
In either case, a plecostomus should be OK. If you're adding more rb pirhanas's then you should definitely add more than one. Otherwise, the weaker will be harrassed to death. Opinions here vary, but at least three.
Pacus are less agressive, but grow very big. You might want to stick with one because of its potential size.
