Hi, I have 2 swordtails(1male&1female)and today I notice the 2 of them locking jaws, whacking with their tails and nipping at each others fins, im kinda worried/scared, are they fighting or are they matting? If theyre fighting what should I do. I thought they were peachful fishes.

It looks like this post slipped through unanswered. How are they doing now? Many fish get aggresive when they spawn. Just keep an eye on them if it gets to rough and one is taking on injuries seperate them. If you don't have another tank you could buy or make a tank divider to give the injured a break and then try them together again.
