A friend of mine has 2 pirahnas in a 35 gal tank, they are not big at all only around 3-4 inches long and I just went over there yesterday and we took 2 tetras out of his wifes tank and put them in with the pirahnas to see how long they would last and they didnt last 2 minutes so my opinion would be no way BUT Im no expert on pirahnas and I dont know how long it had been since his had eatin when we done it. I am just telling you what I seen yesterday.

Thank you
Samson

samson the problem is the pirahnas are to small you could put tetras in with large P's but you should wait until there at least 8+ inches they wont be to intrested with the tiny fish unless there very hungry. So the key is large P's, large tank, alot of hiding places, alot of food, and tiny tankmates
