i was wondering how ig my electric blue (ahli) african cichlid will get in a 20 gallon. He is alone and is about 2 inches right now. I was hoping he would get considerably larger. Alos, what would be the largest fish that i could have in a 20 gallon that wouls be an interesting specimen? IP: Logged |

I think thsoe get about 5-6 inches. you could get a frontosa or hap moori. those get 10 inches or more. I've seen a very large frontosa selling for 80 bucks that was sooo awesome. but really, I think the frontosa might need a bigger tank than 20 gal. IP: Logged |

I think those are a lot meaner than your ahli. the ahli is african and the other two new world cichlids. I'd stick to africans with africans.. good luck! IP: Logged |
