arnt jack depmsey's reputed to be aggresive towards any other fish? well, mine isnt and that proves that all fish have their own personalities and that not all of one species is a "killer" or is "very peaceful". have any of you had any expieriences with fish that turned out 2 be the opposite of what you were told, for example their aggresion? if so, feel free to post here...

I just recently returned three fish back to my friend. I was keeping them for him because he had a house fire. Anyway two of the three were in the same tank a jack dempsy and a tiger oscar. The both got along fine. They were raised together since they were very small. They acted like buddies always following each other around. I believe that they can have different personalities but general classifications of aggresive or peacful are usually right. The other fish a red devil was kept seperate because it would kill just about anything you could put with him. And when I say kill I mean just for the fun of it He wouldn't kill for food which alot of fish do and get the reputation as an aggresive fish.
